An attempt to heal my family's history that was broken by religious conservatism, shame, and silence. I reimagine my family album to include my Great-Uncle Johnny, who I never knew. After decades of his face, homosexuality, and AIDs-related death reduced to the shadows of my family archive, Johnny has been reintroduced to the family album.
